We all deserve to be loved and accepted for who we are.
Many of us have come to believe that we have to buy, win, earn or otherwise acquire love from someone else. We think of love as something that will be given or taken away based on our behaviour. If we are good, we deserve to be loved. If we do things our partner doesn’t like, we won’t be worthy of love and acceptance.
THIS IS A LIE.
Every time we feel we aren’t lovable, it hurts. And we take that pain and fear and do things that make us feel even less worthy of love and acceptance. But it does not matter what we have learned or what we have done because it is time for us to realize that we all deserve to be loved.
You deserve to be loved. You deserve to be accepted for who you are, not for the things you do.
Being worthy of love begins with us realizing this truth, believing we are good enough to be loved exactly as we are and loving and accepting ourselves.
