Happy Early Birthday to me!

My husband treated me to an early birthday gift – a trip to the mountains – my absolute favorite place to be.

There’s nothing better than a day of hiking, fall colours, mountains, great company, creeks, lakes, forests, and good food.

Being in the mountains nourishes me…I breathe deeply, feel at peace, love every bit of the magnificence of nature.

Any day in the mountains is a good day for me – and today was no exception.
